Last chance for skiing and I made it. I guess now it`s finally over for the rest of the year. But I had a great weekend. Snow, sun, blue sky not many people and no waiting time at the lift. It was so warm, I was able to ski without a real jacket. Which means falling would have been a bit cold :-) But I didn`t....

Instead I enjoyed a long morning on the slope and a very long lunch time in the sun. After that break I felt to tired to go on skiing but as soon as I was back on my skies all tiredness was gone and raced down the mountain singing out loudly. Such a good time! And as much as I`m looking forward to summer - I´m looking forward to next winter already - don`t kill me for that :-)

Oh yes - spring and time for a summer edition car!!!

Ok. I stop kidding. Last week I went to a bike fair with some friends. You know cool Harleys, cool guys (some a bit frightening perhaps???), lot`s of beer (I still don`t drink beer, but ok...) and incredible expensive fashion. Overall: I had fun watching it all - especially the bike. I still want to get myself a license and get my own little Harley.

But besides all that, I found my new car. It`s allowed to be driven on a regular street. Not very comfortable and not to much space for shopping goods *lol* but a lot of fun to use.

Ok - no it`s not summer but I read today that the weather frogs on TV start their spring on March 1st to make it easier to forecast. Why ever that is I didn`t find out. But as it`s warm today I thought it`s time to sort through some summer tops!!!
Oh yes it feels to good to feel the sun on the skin again (not talking about the wind right now, it`s still a bit frosty...). Do you feel that too, it`s like living up and spirits are rising as soon as the sun comes out and plants start to get green again.

You`ll never dream where I spent this year`s carnival season: In Venice. It was my first time there but for sure not my last! In the next time I´ll add some more pics of the beautiful costumes you find there. People work all year to look special. I was really happy to impress in latex and bought this really special mask. I love it. But you`ll see soon what real costumes look like.

Btw: This picture shows me in the cafe Florian on San Marco`s Place. It`s a famous café (also for the prizes - a cup of hot chocolate costs 13€....) and I would never go there if it wasn`t carnival season. The reason to go there is that all the beautiful masks meet there at about 7pm before people start to go to the big balls and parties. So it was my chance to get a lot of wonderful pictures in a relaxed situation. And to my big astonishment - people took as much pictures of me and with me as I took of them. Although this dress isn`t really Rokoko!

Before I start posting the vacation pics... I recently posted this party pic on twitter and got the impression a lot of guys liked it.

And I like the outfit :-) Brings hearts to melt. ( I really do still believe in hearts not just other male... you know what)

I won`t be able to wear it a lot - somehow the seams slowly fall apart. I really wonder why. So let`s enjoy it as long as we have it :-)

Can you imagine people starting a pre party for their birthday? One day before the official date, my friend Tom ordered us all into one of this nice, cool downtown bars. He had decided to party for at least three days: A preparty, a birthday party and an after party (on his boat). I really love to party, but three days filled with champagne in a row? We will see if I make on the boat trip *lol*

At least in here it`s great: Pre birthday cake, drinks and lots of funny speeches for the dirty old man... Good I don`t have to make a speech. It`s something I`m really not good in. Catch me accidentally and I start to ramble - make it serious and give me some time to think, stage fright will kill me.

But that way: I simply enjoy cheerio!!

Get the feeling sometimes that the world is loosing color? Is getting less exciting and whatever happens already happened before? No new adventures in sight? Routine day by day?

I had this feeling on this sunny day - tried to make the pic look like it :-)

But you know what? Adventures are waiting just around the corner - you just have to be open for them and it doesn`t have to be the first step on the moon - a walk in the zoo, a birthday party or a wedding (been there last weekend) can be a lot of adventure, too.

I`m not much of a coffee drinker, but I love to spend time in cafés. I think that`s a french habit. Or Italian, or human..... ? Yes I guess it`s human. The part I enjoy mostly is watching people. Not just passersby, but also lovers, workers, mums, people fighting or people sharing ice cream. And I love to imagine stories about the people I watch. Where do they come from? What do they feel and where will they go? Sometimes my stories get a bit adventurous. So this afternoon, while I was sunken deeply into a heroic 007 story the chief character suddenly got up, came to my table, wondering why I was staring at him and changing expressions meanwhile. OMG! Usually I am quick-witted but at that moment all I could tell was the truth. Never heard somebody laugh so much. My ooh turned out to be a bookkeeper - at least he told me so - perhaps he would have had to kill me, if he told me the truth... - and we had another cup of coffee together.

Last night I was invited to a greece birthday party. Luckily I don`t like uso - shots made of anise - so I went home with zero promille :-)

The party was fun - more greece food then I ever tried but somehow it all vanished during the night. And what a night it was: People singing and dancing, drinking greek whine and chatting in 4 different languages.

It dawned when I arrived back home and I finished the night with a glass of milk on the terrace, the cats coming home at the same time.

No I won´t bore you with stories about endless shopping sprees to different boutiques. All I needed was a new charger for my IPad - lost the old one somewhere. In a train I guess

This mountain lake is just beautiful. I dreamed about living on the little island just in the middle. But to be honest I am one of those persons who finds out that I forgot milk and butter as soon as I come home from shopping. So it might be a bit complicated for me ... But as a holiday home.... Just beautiful.
