Shooting
Category: Weekends
Published: 2010-08-30 17:08

So how did I spent my weekend? Right: Shooting for you and browsing through the results, I think you will love what you get to see within the next weeks.

I`ve been really really a busy bee.

What I love about shooting in a hotel suite isn`t just the luxurious environment, it`s also the fun to change the room to my wishes, to build everything up and change a room to a studio to do my make up in another bathroom as usually - which often gives me new views of myself and new ideas.

And when after several hours all is done, the lightning packed. the room is mine to enjoy. And I really enjoy it - first all to myself, winding down after modeling and getting back to earth and later I often invite friends in to party a bit. But just a bit, because usually the shooting goes on the next morning and that means I have to rise early.

Here is a glimpse for you:

Weekend Party

Finally it was party time again! To give you an impression - this was how my day started:

A bit tired on on my way to shop some groceries. I had no special plans, but a lot of new books from the library, a lawn waiting to be cut, and a sun chair waiting for me in the afternoon. Oh and I had the definite idea that somehow a plan for the evening would develop. And it did.

Friends called me in the early afternoon, that they had been invited by friends to their new house. They had told them about me and I was definitely invited to the inauguration of the new pool - together with 30 other people. I knew some of them but now many.

When I arrived at about 10 pm I seemed to be the last missing guest. People were sitting on the large terrace, enjoying a barbecue and lot`s of champagne. The pool (wow, what a pool) was waiting in the covered arcade and additionally a jaccuzzi bubbled at the other end of the terrace. I was happy I had brought a) my bikini and b) a toothbrush for the next morning, because I had the dawning feeling this would be a long night. :D

And I was right! Just two hours later I found myself with 5 other girls in the jaccuzzi, while the host was sousing us with champagne. You can imagine the giggling and kissing. The night went on like that and at 4 am I decided to needed some fresh bath and jumped into the pool. Actually I still didn`t wear my bikini....

What a feeling. The cold water seemed to wash away the alcohol and I felt my naked body just glide through the water. Wonderful! Not that I hadn`t enjoyed the rest of the night *evil grin*

As I didn`t stay alone in the water for long, I decided that it was definitely time to find a cozy place to sleep and found a cozy sofa with a blanket in the wintergarden.

I woke up at dawn and I was the first one of those who had stayed overnight. The house looks out to endless fields and a far away wood. In between the sun was slowly rising over the gras. So beautiful. I got up without making noise, and jumped into the pool. The swimming woke me up completely, I took a shower, dressed and started to make coffee.

it took two more hours till the rest of the crowd showed up in different kinds of conditions. Some asking for aspirin, other looking for coffee. But it didn`t take long until we found each other in the pool for refreshment and on the terrace with croissants and jam and fruits.

it was Sunday and as nobody seemed willing to leave, I finally took out my bikini and spent a great day in the sun, talking, sleeping.

Feeling home
Category: Weekends
Published: 2010-08-20 12:02

This picture shows me on one of those places I like best. It gives a great view over the sea, which I love and it shows the city spread over its mountains. It`s also a place to think about home.

As I get tons of emails to most various subjects, I learned that at least 60% of you guys live far from home. So leaning over the handrail and mediating into the waves, I started to think about what makes us feel home.

My Grandmother was one of the fugitives of WW II and lost her homeland, was her new home really a homeland?

My Mum (who had to move a lot as a kid) says - home is where my family lives. You could probably say the same about best friends in case you don`t have a family.

Or is home the place where you know where to find your fridge and a warm bed?

I guess there are so many ways to define and to feel "home", each person has to make up his own mind.

Last night, while poking through a second hand bookshop, I read: You are at home when a cat is there waiting for you. No matter what: I have two cats waiting for me - and I guess the same saying is valid for dogs.

Whiel checking my blog I just saw that I seem to think a lot in the last weeks - I guess it`s time to think less and party more!!!! This morning I got an invitation for a gay street festival around here - time to run wild again!

Global warming
Category: Just so
Published: 2010-08-17 15:40

Let`s face it - global warming is started and there are not many chances to stop it anymore. Although I still believe that there is brain even in some politicians :-)

This morning I watched a documentation (while doing my crunches - don`t want you to think I`m lazy *grin*) about how much pollution the different ways of making vacation causes. Believe me, a trip to Mexico isn`t the perfect way to improve your ecological footprint. Buying a bicylce and finding out more about your environment sounds better. But I`m not here to talk into your consciusness - I love to travel myself.

But: Does that really look like global warming? Or is Emmerich right in his Iceage movie - It`s going to be really really cold in some parts of the world, before it get`s warm...
